Speed Ramp

A smooth change in playback speed within a shot, like easing into slow motion.

A speed ramp gradually changes the playback speed of a clip — for example easing from normal speed into slow motion and back. Clean slow motion requires footage shot at a high frame rate. Speed ramps add drama and energy and are popular in music videos, montages and gaming edits.
