Why Learning

The scene you want starts with the skills you build.

The performing arts scene in Karachi is growing. The limiting factor isn't talent — Karachi has extraordinary talent. The limiting factor is infrastructure: venues, networks, and structured pathways for creative people to develop their skills into something they can take on stage.

Learning is one of Club 432's three pillars for exactly this reason. We run workshops for beginners entering a discipline for the first time, masterclasses with visiting and roster artists for developing practitioners, and short courses for people who want structured multi-session learning rather than a one-off event.

All learning at Club 432 happens in the venue itself. You learn in a real performance space, surrounded by working artists, with the stage literally in the room.

Comedy

Stand-Up Comedy: From Zero to Open Mic

A structured 4-session course taking you from your first written joke to your first open mic performance. Covers writing, editing, performance technique, dealing with silence, and reading a room. You leave with 5 minutes of tested material and a date to perform it.

Advanced Comedy: Building Your Hour

For comedians with 15+ minutes of tested material who want to build toward a full show. Covers long-form structure, callback writing, persona development, and how to work with Club 432 on a produced show. Prerequisite: one year of open mic experience.

Music

Music Performance Workshop

A practical workshop on performing live music — not playing, but performing. Stage presence, sound check protocol, reading an audience, handling technical failures, and the difference between a rehearsal and a show. For musicians who already play but haven't performed live.

432Hz: Tuning & Listening

A workshop on 432Hz tuning — what it is, how to tune your instrument to A=432Hz, and how to listen for the difference. Includes a live 432Hz performance and a listening session with guided comparison. For curious musicians and deeply interested listeners.

Stagecraft & Live Production

The practical side of putting on a live show — sound, lighting, stage management, ticketing, promotion and the night-of run-of-show. Taught by Club 432's production team. For aspiring producers, artists who want to understand their shows, and technical creatives.

Artist Development Masterclass

A one-day intensive for artists across disciplines covering: building an audience, working with venues, social media for live arts, pricing and rates, and the business side of a creative career in Pakistan. Taught by Club 432 leadership with guest input from working artists.

University students in creative disciplines who want practical, venue-based learning that complements academic study. Our programmes are built around doing, not theory.

Adults who want to explore a creative discipline without committing to a degree. Evening and weekend scheduling for working participants. No age limit — ever.

Every workshop at Club 432 is taught by working performers — our roster artists, working producers, and invited practitioners who are active in their fields. We do not hire academic instructors to teach performance. We hire performers to teach performance.

Learning at Club 432 happens in the venue itself — the same stage where our shows happen. You don't practise in a classroom and hope the real thing feels the same. You learn in the room where it counts.

Small cohorts. Maximum 12 participants per workshop track. This is not a lecture. You get individual attention, real feedback, and the time to actually improve during the session.

Completion is performance. Every course ends with a performance opportunity — an open mic, a showcase night, or a workshop showing. You don't finish by writing an essay. You finish by getting on stage.

How do I sign up for a workshop?
Workshop dates are listed on our events page. Registration is via Instagram DM or the events page sign-up. Cohorts fill quickly — register early.

How much do workshops cost?
Pricing is listed per workshop. Single-session workshops typically range from PKR 2,000–4,000. Multi-session courses range from PKR 8,000–18,000. We offer discounts for students and early registrants.

Do I need equipment?
For music workshops: yes, bring your instrument. For comedy and production: no equipment needed. For the 432Hz workshop: we provide tuning references.

Can I gift a workshop?
Yes. Contact us via Instagram to arrange a gift enrolment. We provide a digital gift card confirming the booking.
