Mic Nights

Stand-up. Open Mic. Sketch. Festivals.

Comedy in Karachi has always existed — in dhabas, in drawing rooms, in WhatsApp voice notes. What it hasn't had is a dedicated venue, a regular programme, and a pathway from first joke to full show. Club 432 is that venue.

We run comedy across multiple formats: open mic nights for newcomers trying material for the first time, produced shows for acts with 20–45 minutes of polished material, sketch and ensemble performances, and comedy festivals that bring multiple acts together for a full night.

Our room is 60–120 capacity. Intimate enough to work for conversational comedy. Big enough to feel like a real show.

Every format. One venue.

01

Open Mic

5–7 minutes of stage time for any comedian, any experience level. Regular slots available. Sign up via our Instagram or events page. The format that built every comedy scene on earth.

02

Produced Shows

Full stand-up hour or half-hour shows produced by Club 432. We handle venue, ticketing, promotion and production. You handle the jokes. Our best format for established acts.

03

Comedy Nights

Curated multi-act nights with 4–6 performers. MC-hosted, ticketed events. A great intro to the Club 432 comedy room for audiences new to live comedy.

04

Sketch & Ensemble

Group-written sketch comedy, character shows and ensemble performances. We welcome troupes, writing groups, and experimental comedy forms that don't fit the open mic structure.

05

Comedy Festivals

Seasonal comedy festivals with 8–15 acts across 2–3 nights. Club 432's biggest comedy events — a full weekend of Karachi's best comedy plus visiting performers.

06

Private Shows

Book Club 432 for corporate events, private parties, and brand activations. We curate the lineup, handle production, and deliver a comedy show that doesn't feel like a corporate comedy show.

Get on our stage.

Whether you've never held a mic or you're working on your second hour, Club 432 has a path for you.

First-timers: Come to an open mic night. Five minutes. No judgment. Every comedian you've watched online started exactly here. Sign up on our events page or DM us.

Developing acts: We run a comedy development programme for acts with 10–30 minutes of material. Feedback nights, workshop sessions, and recorded sets to help you build toward a produced show.

Produced acts: Apply to the Club 432 roster. We review sets, select acts quarterly, and produce 4–6 full shows per season for acts ready for their own night.

"Comedy is the one art form that survives every regime, every social change, every economic crisis. Karachi has always had comedians. We just gave them a room."

Common Questions

Do I need experience to do open mic?
No. Open mic is explicitly for people who've never performed. If you have material — even rough material — come and use the stage.

Can I watch comedy without performing?
Yes. Most shows are ticketed and open to audiences. Check the events page for upcoming shows and buy tickets in advance — shows sell out.

Is Club 432 comedy in Urdu or English?
Both. We have comedians working in Urdu, English, and code-switching between them. Karachi comedy sounds like Karachi — multilingual and layered.
