Audio quality is what separates a stream that feels professional from one viewers tune out of, and it is easier to get right than most beginners think. The essentials are a decent microphone, a way to position it close to your mouth, a reasonably quiet space, and your broadcasting software set to use the right mic at the right level. You can start with a single USB microphone plugged into your computer, or build an XLR setup with an interface for more control.
