Vectorscope

A scope that displays the color (hue and saturation) of an image.

A vectorscope is a circular graph showing the hue and saturation of an image, independent of brightness. Colorists use it to judge and balance color objectively — for example checking that skin tones fall along the standard skin-tone line. Scopes like this keep grading accurate rather than relying on the eye alone.
