LUFS

A standard unit for measuring perceived audio loudness.

LUFS (Loudness Units relative to Full Scale) measures how loud audio actually sounds to listeners, not just its peaks. Platforms normalize to loudness targets, so mixing toward a sensible LUFS keeps your video consistent with others. It's the modern way to judge loudness.
